This User Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the rules and responsibilities of users of Sodhkhoj.com.

By using the Site, you agree to this Agreement in addition to our Terms & Conditions.

You agree to:

• Use the Site legally, ethically, and in good faith
• Provide truthful information in all listings and submissions
• Respect intellectual property rights of others
• Safeguard your login information and account security
• Comply with all applicable laws of Nepal
• Treat other users and businesses with respect
• Keep your contact information up to date
• Report violations or suspicious activity

Definition

“User Content” includes:

• Business listings and descriptions
• Images, photos, and videos
• Reviews and ratings
• Messages and communications
• Comments and feedback
• Any other content you upload

Your Representations

• You own or have permission to use the content
• Your content does not violate laws or infringe rights
• Your content is not misleading, false, or harmful
• Photos are of the actual business or product
• Information is current and accurate

Content Standards

Your content must NOT:

• Contain false or deceptive information
• Infringe copyright, trademark, or other rights
• Include personal information of others without consent
• Contain viruses or malicious code
• Promote illegal activities
• Be defamatory, obscene, or offensive
• Constitute spam or unsolicited advertising
• Manipulate or game the system

Content Moderation

• Review, edit, or remove content that violates guidelines
• Refuse to publish content at our discretion
• Moderate content for quality and relevance
• Use automated tools to detect violations

We are not obligated to pre-screen content but reserve the right to do so.

Platform Role

Sodhkhoj only provides a directory platform connecting users with businesses. We are a FACILITATOR, not a participant in transactions.

No Responsibility For

• Business behavior, conduct, or practices
• Service quality or product satisfaction
• Prices, promises, or terms offered by businesses
• Actions taken by listed businesses
• Disputes between users and businesses
• Accuracy of business-provided information
• Availability of products or services

Your Due Diligence

• Research businesses before engaging
• Verify information independently
• Use common sense and caution
• Read reviews and ratings
• Contact businesses directly with questions
• Keep records of transactions

Direct Interaction

Any interaction, transaction, or agreement is strictly between you and the business. Sodhkhoj is not a party to these interactions.

Grant of License

• A worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license
• To display, use, publish, and distribute your content
• To modify format (not substance) for consistency
• To create derivative works for promotional purposes
• In connection with operating the directory and marketing our services

Duration

• Ends when you delete your content or account (for active content)
• May continue for backup or archive copies as legally required
• Continues for content used in marketing materials created while active

Moral Rights

Where applicable, you waive moral rights to the extent permitted by law, allowing us to use content without attribution in certain contexts.

Honest Reviews

• Base them on genuine personal experience
• Be fair, honest, and constructive
• Focus on facts and your experience
• Avoid conflicts of interest
• Do not review your own business or competitors

Prohibited Review Practices

• Post fake or fraudulent reviews
• Accept incentives for positive reviews
• Coordinate review campaigns
• Use multiple accounts to review
• Blackmail businesses with negative reviews
• Post reviews for competitive advantage

Review Removal

• Violate these guidelines
• Are clearly fraudulent or fake
• Contain personal attacks or harassment
• Include inappropriate content
• Are irrelevant to the business

We do not guarantee that all reviews will be published. Reviews may be rejected or removed at our discretion.

Technical Abuse

• Upload harmful software, viruses, or malware
• Attempt to hack or breach security
• Bypass security measures or access controls
• Overload servers or disrupt service
• Use automated bots or scrapers
• Reverse engineer the platform

Content Abuse

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post spam or repetitive listings
• Create duplicate listings for the same business
• Manipulate search results or rankings
• Engage in keyword stuffing

Commercial Abuse

• Resell access to the platform
• Use data for competing services
• Mass-download listings or data
• Create derivative databases

Legal Violations

• Violate applicable laws
• Infringe intellectual property
• Engage in fraud or misrepresentation
• Facilitate illegal activities

Data Usage Restrictions

• Personal use in finding services
• Contacting businesses for legitimate purposes
• Not for building competing databases
• Not for mass marketing or spam
• Not for data mining or resale

Grounds for Termination

• Repeated policy violations
• Posting false or fraudulent listings
• Fraud, abuse, or illegal activity
• Manipulation of reviews or ratings
• Harassment of users or businesses
• Copyright infringement
• Violation of these terms

Immediate Termination

• Severe violations
• Illegal activity
• Security threats
• Court orders

User-Initiated Deletion

• Accessing account settings
• Emailing info@sodhkhoj.com
• Following the deletion process
• Active listings are removed
• Personal data deleted subject to legal retention
• Some data may remain in backups temporarily

Copyright Infringement

• Contact information
• Description of copyrighted work
• URL of infringing content
• Good faith statement

If your content was removed, you may submit a counter-notice if removal was in error.
